On the Road to Vegas” is a traveling Christian talent show that uses a custom box truck stage to bring music and ministry directly to city streets. Winners from each local event move on to compete in a Las Vegas finale for a $5,000 grand prize. Our goal is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through creativity and to energize believers everywhere to shine their light.

From Street Preacher to Street Stage – The Story Behind Light The Mic
I was just 17 years old when I first stood on a corner with a Bible in my hand and a fire in my heart. No mic, no crowd, just me and the Word of God. I didn’t wait for a pulpit—I made the streets my sanctuary. Some folks looked at me like I was crazy. Others stopped and listened. But I knew one thing: Jesus saved me, and I had to let the world know.
Over the years, that same fire only grew stronger. I saw a generation chasing fame, chasing likes, chasing everything but the truth. God gave me a burden—not just to preach, but to create a platform. A mic. A movement. A moment for young people to use their gifts to glorify God instead of the world.
That’s when Light The Mic was born.
It’s not just a Christian talent show—it’s a spiritual battle cry. It’s a mic in the middle of the street, in the middle of the city, saying “Jesus still saves,” and showing it through rap, dance, poetry, worship, and testimony. We travel city to city in a converted box truck—a mobile ministry stage, a living testimony on wheels.
And at the end of the road? Las Vegas. A grand finale where the most anointed talents from each city will gather—not just to win a prize, but to ignite a fire that’ll spread across this nation.
This is my calling. My story. My mission.
